This is the home of Siskiyou Bluegrass Music Productions. We are so glad you stopped by for a visit! For several years now, it has been our honor and pleasure to produce some of the finest bluegrass events and programs in Southern Oregon and far Northern California, an extremely scenic area of our country also known by many as the “State of Jefferson“. We aim to preserve our musical heritage, and can think of no finer tribute than to kick-off this new website with “The Father of Bluegrass”, Mr. Bill Monroe!
2012 promises to be a watershed year as well. We are the producers of the Susanville Bluegrass Festival in Susanville, CA June 22-24, 2012, as well as the Clatskanie Bluegrass Festival in Clatskanie, OR on August 3-5, 2012.
We are extremely excited to launch a brand new event this year! The Siskiyou Stings & Threads Festival in Yreka, CA. This will be a bluegrass oriented event with an additional focus on quilting and workshops, in a nice venue with all the amenities you want will be held the week of August 20th – 26th, 2012. Yreka is located right off Interstate 5, 90 miles north of Redding, California and 50 miles south of Medford, Oregon.
